Dr. Boyko Chavdarov Atanasov was born in Plovdiv and has been working at the Surgical Clinic of the Eurohospital Hospital in Plovdiv and as a chief assistant in the Department of Propaedeutics of Surgical Diseases at the Medical University of Plovdiv since 2008.
He has a doctorate in medicine, majoring in general surgery and a master’s degree in health management.
Dr. Atanasov works in the field of advanced laparoscopic surgery – colorectal, hepatobilo-pancreatic and gastrointestinal.
He holds numerous certificates in laparoscopic surgery, including for teachers of this type of surgery. He is a member of BMA, BCD, the European Association of Coloproctology, the International Associations of Coloproctology, Gastroenterology and Hepatobilio-Pancreatic Surgery.
