Assoc. Prof. Dr. Buryan Alexandrov Kirov is an associate professor of vascular surgery at the Clinic of Vascular Surgery at UMHAT St. Georgi EAD Plovdiv and the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery of the Medical University of Plovdiv, where he has been working since 1990. He has a master’s degree in health management.
Assoc. Prof. Kirov is the head of the surgical team, and performs all operations in the field of vascular surgery, in emergency and planned order, including hybrid surgery. He specialized in Great Britain. He has excellent knowledge in computer technology – MS Access, Internet in the field of medicine.
As an academic surgeon, he teaches in Bulgarian and English to students and graduates, and specialists – surgeons. He is a member of the Bulgarian Medical Association, the Bulgarian and European Associations of Vascular Surgeons and the American College of Angiology.
